About Sky Hop
Sky Hop is the endless vertical jumper that turns 'how high can you go?' into a full-blown obsession. Your bouncy hero leaps automatically — you just steer left and right, landing on platforms as you rocket upward through the clouds. Some platforms drift, some crumble the moment you touch them, and the higher you climb, the sparser they get. Miss one and you plummet, taking your score with you. Quick rounds, silky controls, and a height record begging to be broken. Steer with the arrow keys on desktop or by touching either side of the screen on mobile; your hero wraps around the screen edges, which opens sneaky escape routes. It's free in your browser with no download, and your best height is saved so every run has a target. The sky changes as you climb — from the Meadow Sky through the Cloud Kingdom and Sunset Heights to the Night Sky and Outer Space — with a golden line marking your best height. Grab the stars floating above platforms to unlock new hoppers (Froggy, Bubblegum, Panda, Robot and Alien), and check off three fresh daily goals for bonus stars.
How to play Sky Hop
- 1Your character bounces automatically — steer with left/right arrows.
- 2On mobile, touch and hold the left or right half of the screen.
- 3Land on platforms to keep climbing; height is your score.
- 4Watch out — moving platforms drift and white ones crumble after one bounce.
- 5Fall off the bottom of the screen and the run ends.
- 6Collect ⭐ stars to unlock new hoppers — they never change your height score.
- 7Climb past 150, 350, 600 and 900 to discover new sky zones. Press P to pause.
Tips & strategy
- Plan two platforms ahead, not just the next one.
- You wrap around the screen edges — use it to escape dead ends.
- Crumbling platforms still give one full bounce. Use and abandon them.
- Stay near the center when platforms get sparse.
