Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FunNudge ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information across our website and our mobile apps. By using FunNudge, you agree to the practices described below.

The two are not the same, and the difference matters. Our mobile apps collect nothing at all. Every section below that mentions cookies, advertising, analytics, or leaderboards describes the website only. If you are here from Google Play, the section immediately below is the one that applies to you.

Mobile apps on Google Play

This section covers our published Android apps, including Hairline and TrueBurn.

These apps do not collect, transmit, or share any data whatsoever. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. Specifically:

• No personal information is requested, collected, or stored. We cannot identify you.
• Progress stays on your device. Levels, stars, high scores, logs, and settings are written to the device's own storage and are never uploaded to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them from the device.
• Android may back your data up to your own Google Drive. TrueBurn takes part in Android's standard backup, so a new phone can restore your history. That backup belongs to you, sits in your Google account, and we never receive or can read it. It is a feature of the operating system, not of the app, and you can switch it off in Android Settings › Google › Backup.
• No advertising. The apps contain no ad networks and no advertising SDKs of any kind.
• No analytics or crash reporting. No usage data, device identifiers, or diagnostics are gathered or sent.
• Notifications are local. If you allow them, occasional reminders are scheduled by the app on your own device. There is no push service and nothing leaves the phone. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time in Android settings, and the apps work fully without it.
• No network access. The apps make no network requests. Our games list the internet permission only because the game engine declares it by default and it goes unused; TrueBurn does not request that permission at all, so Android will not permit it to open a connection.

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to retain, share, sell, or delete on request.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to play our games. Game progress, high scores, and achievements are stored locally in your browser. They are sent to our servers only if you choose to sign in so that your progress follows you between devices — see "Signing in (optional)" below. We automatically receive standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location (derived from your IP address), and the pages you visit, which is used to operate and improve the site. If you choose to submit a score to a public leaderboard, we also collect the display name you enter and a country-level location (see "Leaderboards & high scores" below).

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember your preferences and game progress, to understand how the site is used, and to measure advertising performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features (such as saved high scores) may not work as a result.

Google Ads conversion tracking

FunNudge does not display ads. We do use a Google Ads tag to measure how many people who arrive from an advertisement go on to play a game. This tag sets cookies, and Google may use them to show youFunNudge ads on other sites you visit.

• You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Signing in (optional)

FunNudge never requires an account. Everything on the site works without one, and your progress is normally stored only in your own browser.

If you choose to sign in with Google so your progress survives clearing your browser or moving to another device, we store only your Google account identifier, the display name on that account, and your game progress — streaks, achievements, favourites, scores and match records. We do not store your email address, and we never receive your Google password. You can sign out at any time, and deleting your saved progress removes it from our servers while leaving the copy in your browser untouched. To have the record removed entirely, contact us.

Analytics

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking anyone across sites. It records only the page visited and coarse details such as country, browser, and device type.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage data such as page views, session duration, and which games are played. This information helps us prioritize new games and fix problems. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, and you can prevent Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Leaderboards & high scores

Submitting a score to a global leaderboard is entirely optional and only happens when your run qualifies and you choose to enter a name. When you do, we store the display name you type, your score, the game played, and a coarse, country-level location (a two-letter country code) so we can show a flag next to your entry. We do not collect or store your precise location.

• Your country is determined from your IP address at our content delivery network's edge; only the country is retained.
• Leaderboard entries (name, score, country, and game) are stored with our database provider and are displayed publicly on the site. Please do not include personal information in your display name.
• You can ask us to remove a leaderboard entry at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Children's privacy

FunNudge is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Our mobile apps collect no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts, most data we process is anonymous or controlled directly through your browser settings and the ad opt-out links above. Data retention

Locally stored game data remains in your browser until you clear it. Aggregated analytics and advertising data are retained according to the policies of Google and our other service providers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review it periodically.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including applicable data-protection legislation.
