About Block Drop
Block Drop is the timeless falling-blocks puzzle that has hypnotized players for decades. Seven different shapes tumble down the well — rotate, shift, and drop them to build complete horizontal lines. Full lines vanish, the stack shrinks, and your score climbs. But the pieces fall faster with every level, and one sloppy stack can bury you. Clean, smooth, endlessly replayable: this is the puzzle game your brain refuses to put down. Move and rotate with the arrow keys, soft-drop to nudge a piece into place, or hard-drop with the space bar when you're sure. Keep the stack flat, save a slot for the long piece, and clear multiple lines at once for bigger scores. Landed pieces wait a beat before locking so you can still slide or spin them, and the next three pieces are always on show. Some blocks carry a 💎 gem — clear its row to collect it — every ten lines earns a 💣 bomb that blasts a hole in a messy stack, and emptying the whole well pays a huge ALL CLEAR bonus. As the levels climb the well travels from Midnight through Deep Sea, Aurora, Blossom and Inferno into the Cosmos, and coins from lines, gems and daily goals unlock new block skins: Jelly, Neon, Retro, Glass, Gems and Gold. How to play Block Drop
- 1Use left/right arrows (or on-screen buttons) to move the falling piece.
- 2Press Up or X to rotate (Z turns the other way), Down to soft-drop, Space to hard-drop instantly. C holds a piece for later.
- 3Fill a complete horizontal row to clear it and score points.
- 4Clear multiple rows at once for bonus points — four at once is the jackpot.
- 5Clear a 💎 gem's row to collect it, and press B to swap in a 💣 bomb (one every 10 lines) that blasts the 3×3 it lands in.
- 6Empty the whole well for an ALL CLEAR bonus. The game ends when the stack reaches the top. Press P to pause.
Tips & strategy
- Keep the stack flat — avoid burying holes under blocks.
- Save a vertical slot on one side for the long I-piece.
- Use soft drops for control; hard drops only when you're sure.
- Higher levels score more per line — survival is strategy.
- A landed piece still slides and turns for half a second — tuck it under an overhang before it locks.
- Save bombs for the moment a hole gets buried, not for a stack that's merely tall.
