About Dino Run 3D
Dino Run 3D reimagines the famous no-internet dinosaur runner as a fully 3D, cinematic experience. A carved-stone T-rex pounds across a golden desert bathed in sunset light, with long shadows, drifting haze, and a glowing sun low on the horizon. Time your jumps to clear towering cacti and duck beneath swooping birds as the world accelerates around you. It's the pick-up-and-play thrill of the offline dino game you know, dressed in real-time 3D graphics — soft shadows, atmospheric fog, and a side-tracking camera that makes every run feel like a chase scene. The run carries you through five lands — the Dusk Desert, a Fern Jungle of mossy stumps, a Volcano Pass of glowing lava rocks and drifting embers, a Frozen Tundra of ice spikes and snow, and a Starlit Night of glowing crystals. Grab bones mid-jump to unlock new dinos (Jade, Sunset, Glacier, Magma, Golden and Shadow), and catch the rare golden egg for a shield that shrugs off one hit. Press jump again in mid-air for a somersaulting double jump, and fill the RAMPAGE meter with bones and close calls to charge straight through everything in your path for a few seconds.
How to play Dino Run 3D
- 1Press Space or the Up arrow (or tap the screen) to jump — press again in mid-air for a 🤸 double-jump flip.
- 2Press the Down arrow (or hold the lower half of the screen) to duck.
- 3Jump over cacti and duck under low-flying birds.
- 4Your score is the distance you survive — it climbs automatically.
- 5The desert speeds up the longer you run. Don't get greedy.
- 6Grab 🦴 bones (some float over obstacles — jump for them) and catch a 🥚 golden egg for a one-hit shield. Neither changes your distance. Press P to pause.
- 7Bones and close calls fill the 🦖 RAMPAGE meter: when it's full you run faster and smash through obstacles for a few seconds.
Tips & strategy
- Jump a touch late for tall cacti — early jumps come down too soon.
- Duck only when you must; you can't jump while crouched on the ground.
- Watch the bird's height — most need a duck, not a jump.
- At top speed, react to the nearest obstacle and ignore the rest.
- Missed the timing on a tall obstacle? A double jump in mid-air can still save you.
