About Maze Chase
Maze Chase brings the golden age of arcades to your browser. Steer your hungry hero through a neon maze, gobbling every dot while ghosts hunt you down through the corridors. Grab a glowing power pellet and the hunters become the hunted — for a few precious seconds, you can chase the ghosts down for big bonus points. Clear the maze to advance to a faster level. Easy to play, hard to put down, and that ghost-chasing power trip never gets old. Steer with the arrow keys, WASD or swipes — corners are where ghosts catch the greedy, so plan your route a few dots ahead. Runs free in any browser on desktop or mobile with no download, and your high score is saved between visits. Every level lights the maze in a new theme — Neon Arcade, Candy Land, Jungle Ruins, Lava Caves, Ice Palace and the Golden Temple — so there's always a new maze to discover. Every dot you eat counts toward new chompers (Ruby, Mint, Ninja, Galaxy and Gold), and three fresh daily goals pay bonus dots.
How to play Maze Chase
- 1Use arrow keys or WASD (or swipe on mobile) to move through the maze.
- 2Eat all the dots in the maze to clear the level.
- 3Avoid the ghosts — touching one costs a life.
- 4Eat a large power pellet to make ghosts vulnerable for a few seconds.
- 5Eat vulnerable (blue) ghosts for big bonus points. You have 3 lives.
- 6Clear the maze to reach the next level and a new maze theme. Press P to pause.
- 7On a phone, swipe on the maze or use the arrow pad under it.
Tips & strategy
- Clear the awkward corners early, while ghosts are far away.
- Don't grab a power pellet until ghosts are close enough to chase.
- Use the side tunnels to escape — ghosts are slower to follow.
- Leave yourself two exit routes whenever possible.
